ELTC Classes and Training

building wall with "education" signThe Employment Skills program is designed for the fast-track acquisition of pertinent job skills and job search/interviewing preparation. This curriculum has three major components: Computer Software Training, Medical Office Training, and can be combined with GED preparation courses in our Literacy program. Together, these components provide the most effective way to increase our clients' employability.

ELTC provides five 8-week semesters per year. All the courses are hands-on with small class sizes. The training is open to any adult, however, special consideration is given to low-income individuals in the form of a sliding income scale for many courses (the medical and literacy courses are set at the low-income fee). Thanks to the grants and subsidies provided by our contributors, we are able to keep our course fees amongst the lowest in the state.

We are a certified training service provider for clients from the Colorado State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and for the Larimer County Workforce Center's TANF program, respectively. They will provide payment vouchers for qualified clients. You must be enrolled in their programs first, so please check with these service agencies for eligibility criteria and processing procedures.

Many of our courses and individualized training modules are available to local businesses at their workplace. Our state of the art computer labs are also available for training. Please call or write for more information on these services.
