Train for the future
With an aging population, the retirement of baby boomers in healthcare, and advances in medical technology, the need for healthcare personnel continues to grow at a rapid rate. The U.S. Department of Labor says health care has a very strong expected employment growth between 2004 and 2014. Healthcare jobs will account for 10 of the 20 fastest growing occupations between 2002 and 2012. About 16% of all the new wage and salary jobs created between 2002 and 2012 will be healthcare jobs – 3.5 million jobs, more than in any other industry.
